2016: Video Producer/Host
● Created, produced and hosted “The Root Live,” a weekly Facebook Live talk show addressing issues Black people should be talking about and educated on (maternal health, human resources in the workplace, therapy and more), but through a Black lens.
● Created and produced “Out Loud,” a talking head series that showcased the inner thoughts and feelings of Black people...out loud. No issue was too large or small, from Black people being killed by police officers to fatherhood, mental health, the first time being called the N-word, body positivity, dating and more.
● Hosted red carpet interviews, junket interviews, celebrity and non-celebrity video interviews in office
● Created The Root’s “The Pop Up” Black Music Month event series and pop up performances.
● Created, wrote, produced and hosted popular “Judge of Characters” a weekly video series, garnering over 10 million views that tackled white supremacy.

● Created ESSENCE’s current video roster: The B-side, We See You Sis, Essence Reports, The Black Effect and The OverExplainer Reacts
● Hosted, wrote, produced and edited The OverExplainer video series where I’d break down topics Black women should be talking about. The OverExplainer Reacts was an extension of this series, where I’d react to viral videos from the internet.
● Hosted red carpet interviews and awards show press room--often producing viral clips and sources for other outlets.

2020: The Danielle Young
● Created, write and produce the Be Like comedic video series where I make fun of things we’re going through that we can all relate to because sometimes it be’s like that.
● Created and produce Real Quick, an interview series where i have deeper than the surface conversations that are uniquely powerful with Black creatives, thought leaders, talent and culture shifters.
● Launched and produce Real Quick, the podcast
● Launched “The Queen Of Commentary” brand, where I host virtual watch parties for various shows/movies, working with networks to engage audiences in particular shows or movies.
● Re-ignited #RelationshipGoals, a weekly column on MadameNoire, where I soul-search and relive relationships from my past in order to learn from them and grow.
● Launched #StoriesTold, a live audio storytelling experience where people from my tribe come on and have conversations, but their answers to my questions have to be stories from their lives. This is hosted on an app called Storm.
